A matched suite from one brand. Ranges, hoods, dishwashers, refrigeration, microwaves and wall ovens, so the whole cooking wall can match.
Burner and motor coverage. ZLINE lists a limited lifetime warranty on gas burners for ranges and rangetops, and a limited lifetime motor warranty on range hoods.
Range hoods are a core line. ZLINE described itself as a range hood maker when it opened its Tennessee distribution hub in 2018, and hoods carry 3 years parts-only coverage.

Trade-offs to check before you buy

Short base warranty on cooking appliances. Ranges, rangetops, wall ovens and dishwashers have 1 year parts and service. Built-in refrigeration and wine coolers have 2 years. Compare that with any other brand you are considering, model by model.
Service network. Warranty service must be done by ZLINE-approved, ZLINE-certified providers after troubleshooting with ZLINE customer service. Ask ZLINE whether a provider covers your ZIP code before you order, especially in rural areas.
Warranty limits. Coverage starts on the delivery date (not the install date), covers the original purchaser only, applies to residential use only (vacation rentals such as Airbnb count as commercial) and only in the contiguous U.S. and DC.
The 2023 RG gas range recall. About 30,000 RG-series gas ranges were recalled because the oven could emit dangerous carbon monoxide. ZLINE first offered a repair (January 2023), then on November 21, 2023 expanded the remedy to include a replacement or refund after 131 reports that repaired units still emitted CO. CPSC says owners of an affected range should stop using the oven, even if it was already repaired, and contact ZLINE; the range top is unaffected. The recall covers only model numbers RG30, RGS-30, RGB-30, RG36, RGS-36, RGB-36, RG48, RGS-48 and RGB-48, sold February 2019 to December 2022. None of those model numbers are in our catalog. If you are buying a used ZLINE range, check the model label against the CPSC notice.
